• University Remains Open; Early Closure for Libraries and UC Dining Hall

    The New York City campus remains open for regular hours today, September 29th. 

    Faculty: Flexibility is encouraged. Classes may be delivered online where appropriate and at the discretion of faculty. 

    The University Center Dining Hall and Libraries will close early as follows:

    • University Center Dining Hall 
      The Dining Hall will close at 7:00pm. Hot Food will be available until 6:30pm with Grab and Go options available until 7:00pm. Full service will resume tomorrow at 11:00am.
    • Libraries
      All Library branches will close at 6:00pm and are expected to reopen tomorrow at 10:30am. Online services and access to electronic content remains available. Please visit library.newschool.edu for the latest information and to ask any questions.

    Residence halls are open, and the UC will be open 24 hours for emergency shelter. Check our website and Twitter/X account for updates.
